Practise, practise, practise!


At first it’s necessary to take time over the relaxation exercises in order to ‘train’ our bodies and minds to do things differently.

But in the same way that eating just one healthy meal each week has little impact on our overall health; relaxation brings about very few improvements unless it’s practised regularly.

Although many people find relaxation difficult at first, if you devote enough time and effort to learning relaxation techniques they become simple, and you’ll eventually be able to switch on the relaxation response in your body and mind with very little effort at all.
