Setting goals

When we set goals, we must remember to make them SMARTER.

Specific - Our goals should be very clear about what we're going to do.

Measurable - We must be able to see, hear or measure our success in some way - otherwise, we might not know when we've been successful!

Achieveable - Our goals must be realistically achieveable.

Relevant - Our goals must be relevant and meaningful for us.

Time-framed - We must know by when we'll achieve our goal - if we don't set a time, we may always be working towards something, rather than achieveing something.

Extending - Our goals should push us a little - they must be challenging, but not too scary.

Rewarding - Our goals should be rewarding to us. We might also want to think about how we'll reward ourselves when we achieve our goal.
